According to the World Health Organization there are 703 million people with visual impairment that could be corrected with a pair of glasses. 90% live in the developing countries with limited or no access to glasses. Over 500 million people simply need non-prescription reading glasses. The lack of access to glasses results in an annual loss of US$202 billon to the global economy.
